1. The applicant for an electronic visa must declare and answer fully, accurately, truthfully provide factual information in English for the questions on this form.
2. For questions with multiple options, the e-visa applicant needs to check them ✓ into the appropriate boxes.
3. In case the applicant for an electronic visa chooses the answer "other", yes declare specific content.
4. In case the Vietnam Immigration Management Agency detects that a foreigner has not declared the truth, it will refuse to issue an electronic visa.
5. Electronic visas are issued to foreigners who are abroad and wish to enter Vietnam (not issued to foreigners temporarily residing in Vietnam).
6. Electronic visas are only used for entry and exit through border gates on the list permitted by the Government of Vietnam.

Foreigners falling under the provisions of Clauses 1, 2, 3 and 4, Article 8 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam do not carry out the procedures to request an electronic visa, but through the inviting or sponsoring agency or organization, submit a written request for a visa to a competent agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
8. Member of the guest delegation of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the President, the Chairman of the National Assembly, and the Prime Minister.
9. Member of the guest delegation of the Standing Committee of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Vice President, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy, State Auditor General; members of the guest delegation at the same level of the Minister and equivalent, Provincial Party Secretary, City Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council, Chairman of the People's Committee of the province or centrally run city.
10. Members of diplomatic missions, consular offices, representative offices of international organizations under the United Nations, representative offices of intergovernmental organizations and their spouses, children under 18 years old, and domestic servants accompanying them on term of office.
11. People who work with diplomatic missions, consulates, representative agencies of international organizations under the United Nations, and representative agencies of intergovernmental organizations; People visiting members of diplomatic missions, consular offices, representative offices of international organizations under the United Nations, and representative offices of intergovernmental organizations.
